I had a tooth /gum issue pop up between Christmas and New Year’s. I tried to call and Dr. Gurley’s office was closed for the week. I’m good with that. I’m happy he takes care of his employees. So I went to another place.( not gonna say who). They hit me with a $7200. Estimate on a couple things that wasn’t even the issue I went in for. I dealt with the pain/issue the best I could until Dr. Gurley’s office reopened and when I called Dr. Gurley’s office after the holidays. They got me in the next day. After X-rays and consultation. He said in his opinion he doesn’t see anything that would make him want to do the services that the other office quoted. I do have a filling needs replacing and another small filling to do. Roughly everything for less than $700. Dr. Gurley (father) always treated me and my family honestly and what was in our best interest. It looks to me that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Dr. Gurley (son) was amazing today and will always get 5 stars from me. They choose honor and the customers best interests over money. Thank you very much!!!!!!

I can say I honestly have nothing bad to say about this dentist office. Everyone is nice, pleasant, polite, and well respected. They make you feel comfortable to your satisfaction while easing your mind from the works that’s about to be done! I went into a panic attack my 1st work up and when I tell u they understood the stress they explained what exactly was gone have step by step! I love it here I haven’t been to the dentist in a while cause my teeth’s aren’t that bad and of course due to insurance reasons but they did a great job. I had a root canal and crown did, a filling and cleaning and baby long as they continue to take tenncare I’ll forever be back thanks you guys I appreciate everything you have done and will do for my beautiful smile in the future.

I have been going here for years. And when I had kids they both started going her as well. I have never felt as if they try to gouge me or insurance and they have always explained everything in detail including the cost. My oldest daughter is almost 17 and now she goes on her own for her cleanings. When she wanted braces, they were very honest and explained that if they went ahead and put them on she would have to get them again in the future and it would be unnecessary so it was best to wait and not spend additional money. I have known of other pediatric dentists to go on and put braces on kids too early just for them to have to get them a second time. And they never try and push services on us. They explain what may be need asap and what could wait. They have always been so sweet and kind and I have never had that uneasy feeling that I used to get when going to a dentist like I did with the previous dental group I went to. We will continue to go here just because they have always taken care of us, they have always been kind and helpful and my kids do not mind going to the dentist here!!! So that’s a plus as well.

I was a patient here for over 20 years and for the most part... had no issues. In fact I would say I was pretty lucky to have a good dentist for all those years. A lot of credit has to go to the hygienist I had over those years. I think I only had 1 cavity filled in all that time and Dr. Gurley did an excellent job. Unfortunately, about 4 or 5 years ago, the hygienist I had for many years left. The next few visits I never felt I was getting a good cleaning... No consistency with the hygienist. Then I got a bill for a deep cleaning I wasn't expecting... So I thought I'd look for a new dentist... that hasn't worked out so well.
